Each player sets his 12 pieces on his position of the card in trio ranks on saturnine checks. Checkers is played on the saturnine squares but. The players travel one patch at one turn. The pieces may be moved diagonally. A patch can but be moved forward. If one of your pieces is next to the opponent's patch and the square beyond it is relieve, you are required to rise over the opponent's patch. The opponent's patch is then removed from the card. It is possible to rise many times in a quarrel with the same patch, capturing several of your opponent's pieces. The squares placed in the last quarrel on the opposite position of the card are King squares. If a patch reaches the far goal of the card, then it becomes a baron. The baron is allowed to travel and rise diagonally backwards and onwards. Kings can be captured like any other pieces. The crippled lasts until totally of the opponent's pieces are captured, or are blocked so that they cannot make a travel. The player who loses totally the checkers or has them blocked loses the crippled.
